The Biochemistry Lab at IRNUM Hospital specializes in analyzing blood, urine, and other bodily fluids to assess metabolic functions, organ health, and diagnose various conditions. Using advanced technology, our lab provides accurate and timely results to guide treatment decisions. Common biochemistry tests include:

• Glucose Test – Measures blood sugar levels, used for diabetes management. • Liver Function Tests (LFTs) – Assess liver health by measuring enzymes and proteins. • Renal Function Tests (RFTs) – Evaluate kidney health, including creatinine and urea levels. • Lipid Profile – To asses risk of heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular conditions • Electrolyte Panel – Checks sodium, potassium, and other electrolytes for balance. • Calcium -Assess bone health, kidney function, and parathyroid issues. • Uric Acid- Diagnose gout, kidney stones, and monitor metabolic disorders. • LDH- Detect tissue damage from conditions like heart attack, liver disease, or muscle injury.
